Unbeaten during the qualification process for the 2012 European Championships, Fernando Santos’ Greek side were a real surprise package in their group.

Beating a decent Croatia side to top spot was no mean feat and they come into Group A with a realistic chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition.

At the 2004 European Championships, Greece went totally under the radar but pulled off a real shock by winning the tournament. Who is to say that they can’t do the same again in 2012?

The Czech Republic are going through a number of changes under the guidance of manager Michal Bilek and although they were less than impressive throughout the qualification process, the Czech’s do have a number of talented individuals within their squad who are capable of getting goals.

I just feel Bilek may need a little more time before his young side are the finished article.
