Wigan make the long trip to the Capital to take on a Fulham side who are a very formidable proposition at Craven Cottage. Fulham have been largely finding their feet this season under Martin Jol but at times they have looked particularly impressive, especially on home soil.

The form of striker Clint Dempsey has been nothing short of outstanding and getting the American to sign a new contract has to be a priority for Jol in the summer. Fulham are unbeaten in their last three games following victories over Norwich and Bolton, as well as coming from behind to take a point in the derby against Chelsea.

They have won eight games at Craven Cottage this season and Jol will be looking for his side to finish as high up the table as is possible now they are safe for another year.

Wigan have really picked things up in recent weeks and have only lost one of their last six games. They seem to follow a similar pattern every season and only get going once the threat of relegation is imminent. Roberto Martinez will have been delighted with the win over Man Utd at the DW Stadium last time which means his side now sit two points above the relegation zone.

Unfortunately, I think Fulham will prove too strong for Wigan with home advantage and they will need to pick up points from elsewhere to stay in the division.
