Fernando Torres and Mario Balotelli, two of last season’s Premier League misfits, finished tied for the Euro 2012 Golden Boot – and they both make it into bet365′s shortlist of ten favouites to have bagged the most league goals come May.

Manchester City’s Balotelli is a long 20/1 while Torres, who wasn’t even allowed to take a penalty in the Champions League final by now permanent manager Roberto Di Matteo, is half the value at 10/1.

Despite that bet365 are going odds-on at 1/2 that Torres outscores Balotelli next campaign.

“By his standards he’s been having a barren spell in front of goal at club level for a while now, but that could change after scoring in another Euro final,” bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth said.

And the bookies are also offering 25/1 for the former Liverpool striker to win the Golden Boot at the next world cup in Brazil in two year’s time.
