Odds For Mancini To Leave City Drift After New Deal
English Premier League
Roberto Mancini’s brief reign as the bookies’ favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave has come to a profitable end for the Italian, with the Sky Blues’ boss penning a new five-season, £7.5m-per-year contract with the club yesterday.
The VIP Gambler reported yesterday how Mancini’s odds to leave the Etihad had tumbled from 66/1 last week to as short as 3/1 yesterday with BetVictor amid speculation he was about to take charge of the Russian national team.
But since it was announced the former Inter Milan boss had signed a new deal with City last night, Mancini’s odds have drifted and he is now as high as 33/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave.
Mancini’s drift means West Ham manager Sam Allardyce has regained top spot in the market at 5/1 closely followed by new West Brom boss Steve Clarke at sevens.
Next Premier League manager to leave (BetVictor):
Sam Allardyce 5/1
Steve Clarke 7/1
Roberto Di Matteo 10/1
Nigel Adkins 12/1
Mark Hughes 12/1
