These two clubs share the fraternity of being promoted together two seasons ago. Both have different managers now to the ones which secured Premier League status, but while QPR are happy under Mark Hughes, Swansea will undoubtedly be pining for Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers’ departure for Anfield represents a huge loss for the Swans. The team was designed to play his type of football, a fluid, continental style, and it remains to be seen how they will line up under new boss Michael Laudrup.

It’s not just a manager Swansea will be missing come three o’clock either as both Gylfi Sigurdsson and Joe Allen, arguably the club’s top two performers last season, have moved on to pastures new.

In comparison QPR have strengthened their squad considerbly over the summer. Park Ji Sung, Rob Green, Andy Johnson, Fabio and Junier Hoilett have all added to Hughes’ options and a best price of 11/10 for the Hoops to get three points looks an absolute steal.

Similarly, get on Djibril Cisse (pictured) to score first at 5s. The striker looked a class above last season – when not getting himself sent off – and could well be a regular on the score sheet this year.
