For the third time in three years West Brom start the season with a new manager. Steve Clarke (pictured) has an impressive CV as an assistant, including time spent working alongside Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.

The Baggies have not done any groundbreaking business in the summer and they look poised for a year of mid-table dwelling.

Ben Foster has been the Baggies most expensive purchase of the off-season at £5m and he has been joined at the Hawthorns by Chelsea loanee Romelu Lukaku, Markus Rosenberg on a free transfer from Werder Bremen and Claudio Yacob from Racing Avellaneda.

Paul Scharner is the club’s most high profile loss.

Where should your money go?

Odds of 7/2 for a team that finished in tenth last season only on goal difference tied with three other clubs to breach the top half of the table again are not the best. But 5/6 for Albion to surpass 41 points are decent, especially considering the Baggies reached 47 previously.

New signing, Rosenberg, could also be worth a punt to be the club’s top scorer at a price of 7/1.
