West Ham have enjoyed a decent start to life back in the Premier League, taking seven points from a possible 12, and that is reflected in their odds of 10/11 for victory against Sunderland on Saturday.

The Hammers’ two wins this season have come against Fulham and Aston Villa. That opening day Villa victory is slightly flattering as Paul Lambert’s side were nothing short of awful in the early days of the campaign.

Sunderland are still unbeaten this season, with three draws against Arsenal, Swansea and Liverpool. The Black Cats look increasingly potent after the arrivals of Steven Fletcher and Adam Johnson and are available at a head-turning price of 13/5 for the win.

Fletcher arrived for a club record price of £14m which he has set about repaying with three goals in two matches and at 2/1 gets the vote to score anytime.
