Sunday’s Live Sky game sees Arsene Wenger’s unbeaten Arsenal side travel to The Etihad Stadium to take on a Manchester City team coming off the back of a disappointing defeat at the hands of Real Madrid. Both teams have drawn two games from four thus far this during this Premier League campaign and neither can afford to drop points in the hunt for the 2012-13 title.

Tuesday night’s Champions League featuring Real Madrid and Manchester City was quite simply a classic. Unfortunately for City, they were on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline. Having been 2-1 in front with only minutes to go, Manchester City allowed their opponents to score twice and leave Spain with no points despite acquitting themselves well. Goalkeeper Joe Hart was particularly critical in his post match interview but it would be no surprise to see City bounce back here.

Arsenal fans feared the worst following two draws to open their league campaign, but the Gunners have since registered two victories and were very impressive last time out, putting six past a newly promoted Southampton side. They look to have made some quality signings during the summer and if they continue in this form, should be in the Champions League places once again.

While Arsenal have started the season well and looked solid defensively, Manchester City will see this as a must win game following defeat at the Bernabeu, as well as dropping points in the league at Stoke last weekend. It won’t be a walkover, but I fancy the home side to just edge it.
