Fulham can go above the much-lauded Everton with victory at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Martin Jol has recently gone on record to complain that his side’s acheivements should get the same recognition of that of the Toffees, who sit fifth on 16 points, two more than Fulham, and the hosts are 7/4 to help grant their manager’s wish.

The west Londoners come into the match with just one defeat in six in all competitions – a 2-1 reverse against Premier League champions Manchester City – and were unfortunate not to take all three points away to Reading last time out when they were restricted to a dramatic 3-3 stalemate.

However Everton are also enjoying a good run of form themselves and although they’ve not won in three David Moyes’ team have lost just once in the league this season.

A win for Everton has the potential to send them back into the top four and they are the 13/8 favourites to do so on the banks of the Thames.

The Merseysiders may prove good value to oblige that price. They have beaten Fulham in five of their previous six meetings including a 3-1 victory in this fixture last season.

Belgian international Kevin Miralles is expected to be fit for Everton, despite the best efforts of Liverpool’s Luis Suarez who sycthed down the winger in last week’s Merseyside derby.

Miralles until that point had been imperious in terrorising the Reds’ back-line and he is fancied to continue his good form and help Everton to a comfortable away win.
