Europe’s top footballing nations – and San Marino – are in action on Tuesday evening as they bid to take a step closer to qualification for the 2014 Brazil World Cup.

Holland cruised past Andorra 3-0 last week and although Romania have also enjoyed a good start to qualification with three wins from three, the Dutch should have too much quality for the eastern Europeans.

Those two results should be combined with Italy to beat Denmark and Germany -1 versus Sweden, giving you an accumulator worth over 6/1.

The Home Nations also take to the pitch on Tuesday. Scotland travel to the in-form Belgium as the 10/1 outsiders in a match which presents little value for the punter and should be best avoided. Likewise Northern Ireland’s trip to Portugal, who are 1/10 to win.

Ireland are also away and face the Faroe Islands. Manager Giovanni Trapattoni’s job is under intense pressure and if Ireland fail to win he is almost certain to be relieved of his duties.

Ireland should win but the Faroe Islands are no pushovers so opt for the winning margin to be a single goal.

Elsewhere Wales were fortunate to say the least to beat Scotland last week and Croatia should prove too good for Chris Coleman’s side. Their odds of 1/3 look a tad short so instead go for Nikica Jelavic (pictured) to score and Croatia to win at 11/5.
