Frankel Foal Betting MarketsHorse Racing Tips
The world’s best race horse Frankel dispelled the last question mark over his £100m head yesterday with a stunning win over the increased distance of one mile two furlongs in the Juddmonte International at York’s Ebor Festival.
And to mark the colt’s success William Hill have opened markets on the foal of Kind – the dam of Frankel – and Galileo (pictured), which will be the four-year-old’s full sibling.
Hills are offering 10/1 that this foal lives up to its big brother and remains unbeaten during its career and 5-1 that it follows a family tradition and is named after Sir Henry Cecil, with Frankel taking his name from the legendary American trainer Bobby Frankel.
William Hill spokeswoman Lucy Rhodes said: “Frankel is named in honour of famed US trainer Bobby, so would seem only fitting that his newest sibling should be named in honour of another legend in the world of horse racing.”
Frankel is now unbeaten in 13 races, nine of which have been Group 1. He is only expected to race one more time before being retired to stud, with his curtain call coming on Champions’ Day at Ascot in October.
He already has a full sibling in the form of Noble Mission, who missed out in the Group 2 Great Voltigeur Stakes at York yesterday, with Hills going 6/1 he wins a Group 1 during his career.
