Four days after Team GB failed to propel Mark Cavendish to gold in the road race, Bradley Wiggins will attempt to follow up his Tour de France victory by reaching the summit of the London 2012 podium.

Cavendish is 8/15 to win his fourth Olympic gold medal – an achievment which would be his first on the road with the previous three coming on the track.

The men’s football also returns today with Team GB requiring just a draw to book their spot in the quarter-finals. Stuart Pearce’s side take on pre-tournament group favourites, Uruguay, at the Millenium Stadium and are 6/4 for the victory.

The Sky Blues lost in their last outing to Senegal and need to win to progress. They are 9/5 to do so with the draw available at 1/5 with BWIN.

Gold medal favourites Brazil, who have already booked their spot in the last eight, take on the so far winless New Zealand.
