London 2012 Olympic Ticket Odds

Photos of empty seats and vox pops with disgruntled ticketless fans have plagued the London 2012 Games so far.

And with Locog facing pressure to instil a reallocation system William Hill are offering odds of 5/2 that such a scheme is in place before the athletics get underway on Friday.

Hills are also laying odds of 5/1 that the re-sale system, should it be introduced, will work off a 60-minute rule, while a half hour re-allocation is priced at 10/1.

“A system will have to be in place pretty soon as empty seats in the Olympic Stadium will look terrible on Locog although a reallocation system still seems unlikely by the time of the first athletics session,” said William Hill spokesman Mark Young.
