2012 Premier League Snooker Betting Tips – Week 6 Preview
Snooker Betting Tips
Week six of the 2012 Premier League Snooker season, and the competition is really starting to take shape. Judd Trump has made a successful start to his campaign, with two victories from two games played and currently sits top of the Group B table. Also towards the head of the market is Australian Neil Robertson. Robertson has also secured two wins and is the leader in Group A as things stand. This week sees another two matches take place, as John Higgins faces a struggling Stephen Lee, while Mark Selby takes on Ding Junhui in what is sure to be a tight contest.
Here are the ten players taking part this year with outright prices from bet365
Judd Trump 15/8
Neil Robertson 4/1
John Higgins 13/2
Stuart Bingham 7/1
Mark Allen 15/2
Mark Selby 8/1
Ding Junhui 11/1
Peter Ebdon 50/1
Stephen Lee 150/1
Shaun Murphy 250/1

John Higgins 4/5 v Stephen Lee 3/1 The Draw 12/5 (odds from bet365)
The first match of the evening looks quite one sided on paper but it is unlikely to be that straightforward. John Higgins is the strong favourite to dispatch Stephen Lee and it is understandable following Lee’s 5-1 defeats at the hands of both Judd Trump and Peter Ebdon. Although there is no shame in losing to Trump, Lee was fancied to get the win over Ebdon but was soundly beaten once again. John Higgins has been in solid form of late and one his only Premier League match played thus far in 2012, a 4-2 over Mark Allen. Lee should get a couple of frames on the board, but I’ll be surprised if Higgins can’t get another win under his belt here.

Mark Selby 13/8 v Ding Junhui 13/8 The Draw 2/1 (odds from bet365)
Tonight’s 9pm game features two of the top players in the game, as world number one Mark Selby faces China’s Ding Junhui. Ding was one the wrong end of a 4-2 scoreline at the hands of Stuart Bingham last week, but I think that result can be largely ignored as Bingham has an excellent head to head record against last year’s runner up. Selby has only played once in the 2012 Premier League but was soundly beaten 5-1 by Neil Robertson. Both players will be keen to not be beaten after their poor recent results, and the draw may well be the value option.
