Home Nations World Cup Qualifiers Betting Preview

England aside, three of the home nations are in World Cup qualifying action tonight as the road to Brazil 2014 continues.

Wales have arguably the toughest match with an away trip to Serbia. The Serbs have only ever lost once at home in qualifying and are a best price of 8/15 to take all three points tonight.

And while Serbia only drew 0-0 with a very negative Scotland last week the best the Welsh can hope for is a draw, which is priced at around 3/1.

Wales are waiting on the fitness of Joe Allen, who is rated doubtful with the illness that kept him out of the 2-0 loss to Belgium, and manager Chris Coleman will definitely be without James Collins and Craig Bellamy.

Northern Ireland have been boosted by the fitness of defender Jonny Evans (pictured) ahead of the visit of Luxembourg this evening.

Michael O’Neill’s side lost 2-0 to Russia in their opener and will realistically need to take all three points tonight to keep any faint hopes of qualification alive. Northern Ireland are 4/9 for the win, with the draw at 3s.

Elsewhere, Scotland host Macedonia in their second match of Group A. Craig Levin has been under pressure to play Blackburn striker Jordan Rhodes, but is likely to stick with Kenny Miller. Scotland are 4/5 for the win.
